RDR Executive Nominations

The Red Deer Ringette Association Executive Member nominations are now underway for the upcoming 2019/20 year. Executive Membership will be elected from these nominations at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) that will be held on April 18, 2019 at Baymont Inn & Suites beginning at 6:15pm. Nominations must be completed and submitted via email at secretary@reddeerringette.com or by other means to the RDR Secretary (Elaine Dies) by March 15, 2019.  Names of the people nominated will be posted on our Association website in order for members to review and consider those nominated for Executive positions prior to the vote on April 18th.

(Anyone can be nominated for any position but the U10 Vice-President position requires replacement.) 



U10 Vice-President




**Past President is an automatic appointment unless declined by the outgoing President. If this were to occur a new one is appointed by the current executive membership.

The following Director positions open:

Director positions available to date:

Grocery Card Coordinator

  •                 This is an important position within the organization as it provides thousands of dollars a month in simple fundraising that is assigned directly to your child.  The average commitment is 3-5 hours a month.  We cannot continue the program without a coordinator.

Ice Allocator  

  •                 This is a critical position within the organization.  It requires organizational skills and working with City of RD, Penhold, Delburne Arena booking agents, Black Gold League, Ringette Alberta and the various ringette association ice schedulers.  It is time heavy at the start of each BGL session due to schedule releases and game reschedules, then it is basic maintenance of open ice and U10 game schedules throughout the season.

Friends on Ice - U10 rolling up to U12 next season 

  •                 Through ongoing improvements over the last 5-6 years, the RD Baymont Friends on Ice tournament turns away applicants every season.  We are coming up on the 35th year anniversary and are looking for a coordinator to shadow the current coordinator with the intent that they take on the lead coordinator role for the 2019/2020 season.
