2026 Friends on Ice Tournament
January 2-4, 2026
Join us for the 41st annual Friends on Ice Tournament, January 2nd - 4th in Red Deer. This event brings together athletes of all ages and levels for an exciting weekend of competition, camaraderie, and fun on and off the ice.
Divisions Offered:
- U10: Step 1 - $600
- U10 Step 2 (full ice) and Step 3 - $750
- U12: A, B, C - $900
- U14: A, C - $900
- U16: A, C - $1000
- U19: A, B - $1000
- Open B - $1000
Tournament Highlights:
- Round robin format. Top 2 teams from round robin in each division will advance to the finals.
- U10 Step 1 and Step 2 will not have finals.
- Each team is guaranteed 3 games.

Refund/Cancelation Policy: Once a team receives their acceptance email and responds to confirm their participation in the Friends on Ice Tournament, registration will be charged in full.
Teams withdrawing after they have confirmed acceptance, and payment has been processed, will not receive a refund. If this spot can be filled by a team of the same competition level, consideration will be given to providing a full or partial refund (to be determined based on timing of the withdrawal and impact on tournament planning).
